A dusty field with roaming dots of color
the sun runs a shiny Penny forward
copper hair paints a sky red
forget what father said
[chorus]
Son, choose the tame girl
Son, choose the tame girl
taking a ride
with the wild
leaves you a world of hurt
Son, I learned it first
Son, choose the tame girl
ride through a gentle world
Son, choose the tame girl
her curious eyes drift toward him
Graceful silence encircles them
in a moment they choose each other
In a dusty field with roaming dots of color
[chorus]
[bridge]
trade comforts
for freedom
Broken castle
was not her home
his broken heart
when daddy said
“she’s gone”
[chorus]

you can’t [live with] the unwilling
smell the wild oats [she need to sew]
she has to travel
you want to ride her
Don’t be a cowboy hero
you won’t break heryou might get a saddle near her
she travels without a saddle
but you want to ride her,
she’ll leave you in the dirtSon, avoid the hurt
choose the tame girl
taking a ride
on the wild
she’ll leave you in the dirt
[insert repetitive simple hook phrase chorus here]
she will come back ridden by somebody else
hurts more than being thrown in the dirt
[chorus]
OKAY MORE IMAGES NOW
He sees the filly galloping across the field, sunlight hitting her red coat shining like a copper penny in the sun. Long blonde main and tail. He’s adoring her from afar and she approaches him with a swish of the tail and toss of the mane. he puts his hand out as she approaches and she lets out a loud snort as two front hooves lift off the ground. A playful buck as she runs circles around him, knowing that he can’t catch her.
In a dusty field dotted with salt and pepper with roaming dots of color
the sun runs a shiny penny forward
Mutual interest in the distance, A distant interest is noticed and
her curious eyes drifts toward him
A graceful silence grew encircling the two igniting thunderous storms of hot breath
wild copper hair tossed with storms of hot breath
the moment stretched into beginnings of trust
offered his hand and ignored what father said
Son, avoid the hurt
choose the tame girl
taking a ride
on the wildshe’ll will leave you in the dirt
She’s in the barn, but can he call her his own? She gets out? Runs away.
